The Triangle EAL Difference
Located just outside Raleigh at our Wendell facility, our programs are facilitated by Certified Facilitators and our exceptional Equine Partners. Each session is customized to address your organization’s specific challenges and goals. Beginning with a detailed in-person Discovery Session, we assess the current state of your dynamics through a visual mapping process. With Team Building Events, we dive deeper into your team’s dynamics to learn their perspectives and experiences through pre-even surveys. As we get closer to your event, we engage with the team to ignite excitement about what’s ahead. Meanwhile, we are carefully crafting your customized Team Building Event to address to most pressing needs uncovered through the Discovery Session and Surveys. Your Event will be professionally managed and facilitated to not only drive results, but ignite enthusiasm, camaraderie, laughter, and fun within your team.
But our work does not end here. We aim to ensure your Event has been successful by measuring results at the end of the Event and 30 days Post Event! At Triangle EAL, we genuinely care that your investment shows up not only at the end of the Event Day, but follows through in the daily work life with sustainable positive results.
We understand that soft skill training can be elusive and difficult to achieve. Typical leaning formats do not present opportunities for actual practice and meaningful change. Granted, learning studied theories and proven methodologies is insightful, especially if you want to pass a test. However, meaningful change comes from awareness and behavioral modification. Our experiential learning format is essential to setting the stage for these behavioral changes – or upgrades!
Think about it: when we are learning a new skill like riding a bicycle, playing the piano, swimming, or driving a car, do we learn this by sitting at a desk or computer listening to a lecture, discussing ideas with cohorts, or mapping out ways to achieve the new skill? Or, is the skill learned by practice – physically engaging in the moment by actually doing the activity? Well, behavior changes are very similar! Behavior conditioning and modification happens through actual practice with positive and negative reinforcement – in real time – when the behaviors are happening.
This is why our program has such success. And horses are the perfect neutralizer to deliver the feedback people need to become self aware, without being sidetracked from becoming offended (by someone pointing out the obvious problem). How can you get mad at a horse for pointing out your poor leadership skills? And really, it’s genius – the horse becomes your “behavioral guru!”
